After a month of blogging hiatus (and holiday and moving madness) I am back to share this amazing House in Antwerp, Belgium by CSD Architecten. I love when a modern project is squeezed in between two older buildings (especially of the townhouse variety). I'm not sure why exactly... I could go on and talk about juxtaposition, the interesting contrast between eras or materials, but really, it's just a truly beautiful project.
The photographs are by Luc Roymans, Tom Peeters, and Lize van Schoor.
I remember seeing this spread in Interior Design Magazine early last year, but ArchDailyreposted it yesterday. I think this project is so fantastic. It fulfills my needs of all things modern & holy.
After a whirlwind weekend of running around San Francisco with Christopher and his mom in this Indian summer, I am ready for this week's temperature drop to ensue.
As I mentioned in this post, Aubrey is off in New York working on the Ace Hotel & working on the sight-seeing list I made her (and is adding to it) and documenting it all in photographs.
