I think it's more than obvious that I've slacked on this blog in a serious way. Between work, moving, play, travel, and planning I have very little spare time.
I think I may revamp this in the future in the form of something easier to update and execute.
For now, tumblr & twitter are updated on a much more regular basis!

Photographers
C and I have only been engaged for a couple weeks now, but we're already done so much research on our upcoming nuptials... I am in love Max Wanger's work.

Engaged!

BUT! I have a new and exciting reason to get back at it. I am very excited to announce that Christopher and I are engaged! We're absolutely thrilled and I can't stop calling him "fiance".
It happened on Saturday over a breakfast picnic with croissants from Tartine at the Palace of Fine Arts.

Germany!
C and I have just confirmed our flights for a June vacation in Germany. We'll be visiting his Dad in the small town of Künzing as well as trips to Munich and Berlin! We're going for a bit over a week (not the longest trip, but it certainly won't be our last) and I have already started compiling a list of things to see.
The history! The architecture! The culture! The food!

The New Year & The Crepain Spaens House
After a month of blogging hiatus (and holiday and moving madness) I am back to share this amazing House in Antwerp, Belgium by CSD Architecten. I love when a modern project is squeezed in between two older buildings (especially of the townhouse variety). I'm not sure why exactly... I could go on and talk about juxtaposition, the interesting contrast between eras or materials, but really, it's just a truly beautiful project.
The photographs are by Luc Roymans, Tom Peeters, and Lize van Schoor.

This Past Weekend
After a busy weekend that started with a Friday midnight screening of John Carpenter's 'The Thing' and also included; a dinner party, dinner at Flour + Water, and seeing The 39 Steps at the Curran theater (a play based on the 1935 Alfred Hitchcock film), I am sad to say that it's Monday.
Blogging is going to have to take a back-burner (again) to moving (in with Christopher), the holidays (two weeks in Seattle), and Hitchmas... Aka Christopher and I seeing 3 Alfred Hitchcock double-features at the Castro theatre this upcoming week. How amazing!
So, happy holidays & goodbye 2009.
